Children's University Achievement Corporation (Children's University) values its users' privacy. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") will help you understand how we collect and use personal information from those who visit our website or make use of our online facilities and services, and what we will and will not do with the information we collect.

Data We Do NOT Share or Sell
Children's University Achievement Corporation does not now, nor will it in the future, sell, rent or lease any of its customer lists and/or names to any third parties. Personally identifiable student information is not publicly released.
We may share aggregated or anonymized educational statistics with school districts, educational researchers, workforce development agencies, government literacy initiatives, and grant organizations. Individual identities are never disclosed.

This platform serves children of all ages through parent/guardian accounts. We are fully committed to COPPA compliance.
Protection of Children Under 13
- Parental consent is required before any child under 13 may participate
- Children's information is never sold to any third party
- Children's personal identities remain protected — only display names/nicknames are used
- Real names, exact addresses, and full birthdates of minors are never publicly displayed
- Educational reporting involving children is always anonymized
- All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
Parental Rights
As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:
- Review your child's personal information at any time
- Request deletion of your child's data
- Refuse to allow further collection or use of your child's information

Anyone under the age of thirteen (13) must seek and obtain parent or guardian permission to use this platform.
Educational Data Policy (FERPA)
The Children's University Achievement Corporation (CUAC) platform is designed to be FERPA-aware in its handling of educational records.
How Educational Data Is Stored
Educational data is stored in three separate layers for security and compliance:
- Identity Layer: Login credentials and account security (encrypted)
- Educational Layer: Assessment results, reading growth, lesson performance
- Analytics Layer: Anonymized aggregate statistics for reporting
Data Sharing with Institutions
Educational data may be shared in aggregated, anonymized form only with:

- Literacy grant organizations and researchers

Individual student records are never shared without explicit consent.

Data Retention & Deletion
We retain personal and educational data for two (2) years from the date of last account activity. After this period, records are either fully anonymized for aggregate research purposes or permanently deleted upon request.
- Active accounts: data retained while the account is in use
- Inactive accounts: anonymized or deleted after 2 years of inactivity
- On request: parents, students, or guardians may request deletion at any time by emailing info@cunicorp.com
- Aggregated, anonymized statistics may be retained indefinitely for literacy research
- Minors' data is never sold and is anonymized before being used in any research output

By using the Children's University Achievement Corporation (CUAC) platform and cunicorp.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the platform.
Acceptable Use
- This platform is for educational purposes only
- You may not share account credentials with others
- Assessment results are for personal educational tracking only — not for clinical diagnosis
- You may not attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Misuse of child profiles or circumventing parental consent protections is strictly prohibited
Platform Limitations
The assessment system is NOT intended to: diagnose learning disabilities, replace professional academic testing, or serve as a comprehensive literacy evaluation. It IS intended to rapidly identify decoding struggle, measure improvement, and track confidence growth.
Changes to Terms
Continued use of the platform following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
GDPR / International Users
Children's University Achievement Corporation's operations are located primarily in the United States. If you provide information to us from the European Union, the information will be transferred to the United States.
EU users have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data. Contact us at info@cunicorp.com to exercise these rights.
Refund Policy
- There are no refund policies for free services or goods.
- Subscribers who offer donations will be allowed to return material and supplies only within 30 days after receipt and given a full refund if said goods/supplies are in resell condition as determined by CU staff.
- Original merchandise packaging must accompany merchandise and be in resell condition.
- No refunds for assessments and/or assessment materials.
- No refund will be given to paid subscribers for online class participation after the second class.
- Notice to unsubscribe must be given by the end of the second class.
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of donation.
